Data from household survey performed every 2 to 3 years since 1985. The 2013 survey included nearly 24,000 respondents across Australia, surveyed about alcohol, tobacco and illicit drug consumption, and attitudes and perceptions relating to tobacco, alcohol and other drug use. The dataset includes data on illicit drug use such as frequency of use (lifetime usage, usage in last 12 months etc.), relationship between illicit and pharmaceutical drug use, type of drug used by age, sex and Indigenous status, source of supply, motivation for usage, community support for drug-related policy, and instances of drug-related harm.
