National juveniles in detention monitoring program

A dataset, reported from 1981, on data supplied by the juvenile justice authorities in each State and Territory. Data available includes total numbers of detained juveniles (10 to 17 years), sentencing outcomes, age, offence types, gender, Indigenous status and remanded/sentenced status (including trend data). There have been no data updates since 2008, however analyses of data continue to appear.
