A report of the Derby/West Kimberley project : working with adolescents to prevent domestic violence

The aims of the Derby/West Kimberley project were to increase awareness and understanding of domestic violence in the Derby community; to develop and implement culturally appropriate strategies for the intervention in and/or reduction of domestic violence in Derby through active participation of adolescents, families and communities; and to provide a practical and sustainable model for the intervention in and/or the reduction of domestic violence through working in partnership with relevant agencies/service providers and key Aboriginal organisations. The project established new programs and enhanced some already established.
