Indigenous disadvantage: can strengthening cultural attachment help to Close the Gap?

Description

This e-brief provides a review of Australian and international studies on the relationship between Indigenous lives and cultural attachment and related socio-economic outcomes. Using statistical information on language and culture and studies from Australia, New Zealand and Canada, the e-brief examines the relationship but finds that there is a lack of literature and research on the connections and the findings that have been produced can only be considered tentative.
