Wulgunggo Ngalu Learning Place Final Evaluation Report

Description

This is an evaluation of a community based, residential diversion program that supports Koori men to complete their Community Corrections Orders. It is a live-in program, providing rehabilitation through support, work and training designed to reduce the risk of recidivism. There are structures and systems in place to strengthen participants’ connection to culture, country and community. The extent of the program’s success varies for each individual but there is evidence that a number of participants have been able to make transformative changes to their lives. The evaluation includes case studies that help identify the outcomes of the program.
